About the role
- Participate in every phase of the automation lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, documentation, testing, and software validation
- Attend project meetings and support team members by answering questions related to control sequence logic
- Provide support for system acceptance activities with the client
- Participate in sea trials, which may involve travel worldwide
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering
- Experience developing control sequence algorithms using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or other types of controllers
- Experience with Siemens S7 Safety preferred
- Excellent written English skills
- Knowledge of naval and commercial certification standards and associated processes
- Experience working with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
