About the role

  • Develop embedded software for Space Avionics systems
  • Manage software development lifecycle tasks including requirements, design, coding, documentation, and testing
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
  • 4 years of prior relevant experience or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience writing embedded software using C/C++
  • Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems
  • Experience writing low level software such as drivers and Board Support Packages (BSP)
  • Knowledge of Communication Protocols such as Ethernet, RS422, 1553, SPI
  • General understanding of the Software Development LifeCycle
  • Experience with Windows and Linux development environments
