About the role
- Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
- Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
- Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
- Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
- Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
- Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
- Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
- Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- 9 years’ experience in different phases of project and program management, from proposal and ensuing negotiations through contract award, project planning, project execution and closeout
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of related methodologies and practices
- Experience in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management
- Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
