About the role
- Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations.
- Create system wiring diagrams using the Capital Harness System tool.
- Prepare engineering drawings and coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production.
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Sensor Systems, Power Distribution Systems, and perform electrical loads analysis.
- Support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Active Secret security clearance preferred
- Previous experience in the defense aerospace industry
- CAD skills are highly desired
- Knowledge of with CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software
- Understanding of basic aircraft systems
- Systems integration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
