About the role
- Work closely with Planners, Program Quality Engineers, and Receiving Inspection to resolve supplier issues.
- Visit suppliers and perform product acceptance of electrical assemblies.
- Interface with internal and external customers to ensure requirements are met.
- Analyze supplier processes and planning to verify compliance.
- Work with suppliers to resolve issues with purchase order inspection packages.
- Investigate and report supplier quality history as requested.
- Visit suppliers to perform investigation and root cause analysis.
- Be accountable for assigned suppliers' performance ensuring a 100% quality rating.
- Visit suppliers to review technical, quality and other contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant quality experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related quality experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- J-STD-001 Certification Preferred
- IPC-610 Certification Preferred
- J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification Preferred
- Certified Quality Engineer strongly preferred
