About the role

  • Support the supervision of FTI equipment and service order installation, configuration, and activation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams and work independently on implementing scheduled network maintenance events.
  • Manage special projects supporting program requirements.
  • Ensure successful implementation of equipment and services deliverables for the FTI Network.
  • Execute and document formal acceptance testing of FTI products and services per program requirements.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate communication circuits per IEEE, ITU, TIA, ISO and FTI specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with FTI Engineering team members to resolve implementation and acceptance issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of IP network configurations.
  • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of IP and MPLS network architecture.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Knowledge of FTI Telecommunications equipment installation, configuration and testing standards including, IP network architecture.
  • Possess an intermediate (CCNA certification, or equivalent experience) level of experience troubleshooting IP network configurations.
  • Domain knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and layer 2 Ethernet.
