About the role
- Overseeing and directing all security-related functions for the Space and Airborne Systems Business Unit.
- Managing and executing all aspects of facility security operations.
- Leading the site security team in implementing and maintaining compliance with national security directives.
- Administering personnel security functions, including clearance/access maintenance, program access briefings, issue resolution, and security reporting.
- Developing, delivering, and tracking annual training programs for cleared employees.
- Coordinating customer security requirements with U.S. Government agencies.
- Conducting security education and training programs.
- Maintaining continuous physical security for the facility and accredited secure areas.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to the security team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; OR Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 13+ years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Experience as a Cleared Defense Contractor supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Completion of accredited/approved CSSO course or other professional certifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and security management systems/software.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deliverables.
- Hands-on, self-starter with strong discipline and ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
- Working knowledge of ICDs, NISPOM, SAP directives, and related security standards.
- Experience implementing ICD 705 standards.
- Active or adjudicated polygraph preferred.
