About the role
- Perform non-destructive tests on various materials and products
- Set-up and maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed
- Conduct inspections of materials, parts, and assemblies using automated and manual methods and techniques
- Interpret, evaluate, and report test results of specific products
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- Ability to acquire security clearance
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations
- Knowledge of techniques, tools, and equipment used in the inspection process
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods
- Basic arithmetic, algebra, and physics principles and operations to solve problems
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings, blueprints, production plans, and/or work instructions
