About the role

  • Provide direction and oversight to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant proposal submissions
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between Manufacturing, Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Office teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive proposal strategies
  • Oversee the creation of proposal documents, utilizing company templates and coordinating with the Operations team on the inclusion of basis of estimate
  • Ensure adherence to formal RFP, RFI, and maintain consistency in bidding process
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure accurate version control of all proposal documents
  • Oversee multiple proposal efforts simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business strategies
  • Prepare high-level summary reports and presentation slides for leadership, providing clear insights into proposal statuses, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure appropriate archiving of proposal documents per company practices
  • Act as a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of business acquisition and proposal development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior relevant experience
  • Relevant experience must include extensive exposure to federal procurement regulations (FAR / DFARS) and all phases of the program lifecycle (Bid & Proposal Management, Compliance, Development, Production, and Sustainment)
