About the role

  • Responsible for the schedule, budget and scope compliance of a $10M+ annual execution budget
  • Point of customer contact for reporting status, maintaining scope control and negotiation
  • Leads and directs experienced professionals, lower-level supervisors, or associate manager
  • Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies, practices, or approaches
  • Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products
  • Manages individual(s) typically consisting of experienced professionals or lower-level supervisors or associate managers
  • Works to influence others to accept individual or team’s views or practices and changes to concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems
  • Manages a team with focus on policy and strategy implementation
  • Provides measurable input of new products, processes or standards in operational plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Relevant required experience in program management, to include increasing management responsibility with 6 years in a supervisory role and with DoD Program(s)
  • Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline
  • Experience with cost, schedule and performance as it relates to program execution
  • Program and Personnel Management, Financial Management, Risk Management Policies and Assessment
