About the role
- Develop and analyze system requirements, derive specifications, and manage requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
- Understand system architectures and interface designs, ensuring cohesive integration of subsystems.
- Able to read, interpret, create, and maintain spreadsheets, charts, reports, investigation and test plans, and procedures.
- Perform system and subsystem troubleshooting to a subcomponent level.
- Write effective verification test procedures ensuring system performance and capabilities meet system requirements.
- Perform verification and validation of systems and subsystems to ensure compliance with design specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify and solve problems using logical engineering thought processes.
- Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Visio, Doors, JIRA.
- Prepare effective presentations to communicate technical information to non-technical professionals.
- Communicate clearly (written and verbally) to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Aircraft system integration and ground/flight test support.
- Software coding and development.
- Work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, et al) is required to generate work products.
- Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms.
- Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Top Secret with SCI.
