About the role

  • influences successful business outcomes for orders, revenue recognition, operating income and free cash flow
  • Provides business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance
  • Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends
  • Protects company interest by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions
  • Utilizes knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Manages the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, and overall contract administration
  • Establishes and maintains primary contractual interface with the customer
  • Maximizes cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Subject matter expertise in Government, Commercial, and International contracting
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and the FAR, DFARS and other government procurement regulations.
  • Finance and Estimating/Pricing acumen a plus
