About the role

  • Oversee and optimize the end-to-end flow of material across defense manufacturing lines
  • Coordinate with buyers, major subcontractors, production control, and procurement teams
  • Prioritize high-impact tasks such as order fulfillment, PR coordination, PO placement, material tracking, and sales planning
  • Maximize cash profit and lead negotiations
  • Actively monitor material status from procurement through delivery
  • Engage in sales and strategic planning to align material availability with demand
  • Influence supplier and subcontractor negotiations for favorable terms
  • Develop sourcing strategies and identify supply risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in production control, supply chain, or materials management in the defense or aerospace sectors
  • Familiarity with DFARS, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and military contracting requirements
  • Experience with Integrated Master Plans (IMP/IMS), or military program management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
