About the role
- Provide software engineering leadership and hands on technical expertise for embedded software for military systems.
- Manage a team of expert embedded software engineers.
- Responsible for the complete software development lifecycle.
- Lead estimation, planning, and execution of software through complete SDLC.
- Execute software development using agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Establish software development best practices to maximize quality and productivity.
- Support proposals with concept designs and estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- 3+ years in a software management role.
- Expert in C++/C development for embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Experience in object-oriented design and development of embedded applications.
