About the role
- Provide Electrical Engineering to support Construction, Equipment Installation Projects
- Manage Facilities Capital Projects for Electrical and/or Manufacturing & Process equipment installations
- Lead and support Facilities Projects in development of Electrical Engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates
- Interface with A&E firms and Construction Contractors
- Review and approve construction documents and contractor submittals
- Maintain as-built drawings and records
- Support Maintenance staff in trouble shooting and technical issues as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related electrical engineering experience
- High level of Safety and Customer focus
- Strong skills in teamwork
- Knowledgeable of NEC and other applicable Electrical Building codes
- Knowledgeable of applicable industry standards (UL, Title 24, Lighting Standards, etc)
- Proficient in AutoCad, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & MS Project
- California State Licensed Professional Engineer – Electrical Engineering is highly desirable
- Arc-flash power systems studies highly desirable
