About the role

  • Provide Electrical Engineering to support Construction, Equipment Installation Projects
  • Manage Facilities Capital Projects for Electrical and/or Manufacturing & Process equipment installations
  • Lead and support Facilities Projects in development of Electrical Engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Interface with A&E firms and Construction Contractors
  • Review and approve construction documents and contractor submittals
  • Maintain as-built drawings and records
  • Support Maintenance staff in trouble shooting and technical issues as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related electrical engineering experience
  • High level of Safety and Customer focus
  • Strong skills in teamwork
  • Knowledgeable of NEC and other applicable Electrical Building codes
  • Knowledgeable of applicable industry standards (UL, Title 24, Lighting Standards, etc)
  • Proficient in AutoCad, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & MS Project
  • California State Licensed Professional Engineer – Electrical Engineering is highly desirable
  • Arc-flash power systems studies highly desirable
