About the role

  • Champion the AI integration strategy to support reliable and informed decision-making across the enterprise
  • Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of robust AI/ML solutions that align with business goals
  • Guide the creation, updating, and optimization of AI models, datasets, and data transformations to meet evolving business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold security standards and ensure the integrity of AI data inputs and outputs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field and 12+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML models across multiple domains (e.g., computer vision, NLP, task optimization, data analytics)
  • Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and tools
  • Experience with the full AI lifecycle: data preparation, model design/training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business or mission requirements into AI/ML solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, optimization, and infrastructure for AI/ML, including cloud or on-premises environments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and present technical content to non-technical stakeholders
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, with a strong ability to lead strategic initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
