About the role
- Senior professional with strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement with broad knowledge of project management.
- Manages complex procurements, projects and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area with general oversight.
- Responsible for managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs.
- Explains, interprets, communicates and achieves cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers.
- May provide guidance and assistance to other employees.
- Follows established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior procurement experience;
- or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior procurement experience;
- Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior procurement experience.
- Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the micro-purchase level ($10k).
- Willingness to support supplier contracts above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance
