About the role
- Enable Sales Success: partner with Account Executives to secure revenue by demonstrating clear business value and driving technical validation
- Drive Customer Adoption: act as the trusted technical advisor for new and existing customers, driving adoption, building credibility with stakeholders, and ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth
- Bridge Technology and Business Outcomes: translate L2L’s platform capabilities into compelling use cases that solve real operational challenges
- Lead technical discovery sessions to deeply understand customer environments, challenges, and success criteria
- Design and deliver tailored demos, proof-of-value projects, and solution validations that map L2L’s platform to customer business outcomes
- Act as the customer’s technical voice during the sales cycle, engaging both IT and operations stakeholders
- Proactively identify churn and downsell risks and recommend technical strategies to mitigate them
- Build repeatable technical assets (demo scripts, use case playbooks, validation plans) to accelerate deal cycles
- Maintain accurate documentation and opportunity updates in HubSpot to support forecasting and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to align customer feedback with roadmap and GTM strategy
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience is a must, specifically with the ability to understand manufacturing KPIs, pain points, and digital transformation initiatives
- Ability to articulate how L2L drives measurable improvements in plant-floor performance
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales in B2B SaaS a plus
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value stories
- Confident working with senior executives, while equally comfortable engaging technical and frontline teams
- Hands-on experience leading demos, pilots, and technical validation processes
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC) and disciplined deal execution
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Preferred location: lives on the East Coast (due to collaboration with European customers)
