About the role
- Manage purchasing for assigned assortments independently, ensuring adherence to the planned buying budget
- Plan sales and assortment strategies in coordination with the Head of Buying
- Develop, optimize and manage the merchandise assortment
- Lead and participate in supplier negotiations regarding commercial terms
- Monitor competitors and market trends
- Maintain regular, proactive communication with the Department Manager (m/f/d)
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or a fashion-related field (Bachelor/Master)
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer (m/f/d) in the sports fashion/lifestyle sector
- Assertive, with an entrepreneurial mindset and approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative in idea generation
