About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead L'Occitane au Brésil's Sustainability strategy, aligned with the company's global guidelines.
- Act as an ambassador for B Corp certification, promoting its maintenance and advancement in Brazil.
- Develop initiatives focused on Brazilian biodiversity, bioeconomy and positive socio-environmental impact.
- Lead the sustainable sourcing strategy, ensuring traceability and strengthening supply chains.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and biodiversity legislation, including matters related to CGEN.
- Define, monitor and report ESG indicators and sustainability targets to local and global leadership.
- Develop awareness and engagement programs on sustainability for employees and partners.
- Represent the company in forums, events and initiatives related to the ESG agenda.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team and drive strategic sustainability projects at a national level.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Environmental Engineering, Forest Engineering, Biology, Environmental Management, Agronomy, Business Administration, International Relations or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Sustainability, ESG or related areas.
- Solid experience in Sustainability, ESG or Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Experience in consumer goods, cosmetics, beauty, retail or FMCG companies.
- Experience with B Corp certification, sustainable supply chains and Brazilian biodiversity.
- Knowledge of the GHG Protocol, circular economy, ESG metrics and environmental legislation.
- Advanced or fluent English.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with projects related to CGEN.
- Knowledge of Power BI and indicator management.
- Experience in global and matrixed environments.
