About the role

  • You have overall responsibility for engineering, infrastructure, and operational excellence
  • You work closely with operations, combining strategic vision with hands-on implementation
  • You lead four direct reports in Technical Services, Infrastructure, Project Engineering, and Continuous Improvement
  • You report directly to the COO and act as a strategic and operational sparring partner
  • You ensure a stable, safe, and scalable technical foundation across all production and logistics sites
  • You develop and implement a digitalization and scaling strategy to support quality, employees, and growth
  • You plan and deliver production and logistics solutions, including new builds, refurbishments, and expansions, and ensure their operability and maintainability

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (FH/University/ETH) in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering
  • Several years of leadership experience in industrial production environments with a hands-on/trades component
  • Deep understanding of processes, technology, and people
  • Proven track record in organizational and process development (Continuous Improvement, Lean, digitalization)
  • Enjoys operational leadership across multiple technical functions
  • Experience in CAPEX planning, technical standards, and lifecycle management
  • Very good German language skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities
