About the role
- Define, own, and continuously refine the product vision and roadmap based on business objectives and user needs
- Maintain, prioritize, and groom the product backlog to maximize value delivery
- Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project/product managers, UX, development, and QA teams
- Translate complex business needs into actionable requirements
- Evaluate and measure product success through key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback
- Make independent decisions on product direction and priorities with minimal supervision
- Contribute to release planning and go-to-market strategies
- Mentor junior product owners or team members as needed
- Promote continuous improvement in product processes and team delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or similar Agile certification preferred
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally)
- Experience with enterprise-level software products or platforms
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user-centric development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in an office environment (remote or onsite) with extended screen time
- Must be able to communicate effectively via video conferencing, phone, and written correspondence
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project or business needs.
