About the role

  • Lead L.A. Care’s overall Delegation Oversight strategy.
  • Ensure that all delegated entities comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align oversight activities, mitigate risk, and ensure accountability.
  • Develop strategic plans, drive change, and influence critical business outcomes.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Direct oversight of compliance monitoring and auditing for delegated entities.
  • Chair executive governance forums to ensure cross-functional accountability and transparent reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and create new policies.
  • Prepare and approve budgets, manage financial investments and resources, and monitor performance data.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in health care compliance, managed care, or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in leading, supervising and/or managing staff.
  • Strong ability and knowledge in Compliance.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to research issues and guide resolution.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of clear, effective Board-level materials and executive reporting.
  • Strong governance and committee leadership capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide compliance strategies and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational and culture change and influence enterprise priorities.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring staff, building high-performing teams, and cultivating compliance leadership talent.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and program/project management skills, with high business acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally while balancing compliance requirements with operational realities.
