About the role
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting and audit processes
- Analyze claims and enrollment data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with other Actuarial team members
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of actuarial analyses
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results in a clear and organized manner
- Contribute to regulatory filings and compliance reports as needed
- Assist in ad hoc data analyses as needed
- Develop understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and actuarial best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or Related Field
- In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered
- No experience required, but internship or academic experience involving actuarial work, data analysis, or healthcare finance is a plus
- Experience with SQL, SAS, VBA, R, Python, or other data analysis tools is desirable
