About the role

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting and audit processes
  • Analyze claims and enrollment data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate with other Actuarial team members
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of actuarial analyses
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and results in a clear and organized manner
  • Contribute to regulatory filings and compliance reports as needed
  • Assist in ad hoc data analyses as needed
  • Develop understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and actuarial best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or Related Field
  • In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered
  • No experience required, but internship or academic experience involving actuarial work, data analysis, or healthcare finance is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, VBA, R, Python, or other data analysis tools is desirable
