About the role
- Lead the global HEOR and value strategy across pipeline and commercial assets, ensuring alignment with overall corporate, clinical, and access objectives.
- Develop and execute integrated evidence generation plans, including economic models, real-world evidence, patient-reported outcomes, and burden-of-disease studies to support pricing, reimbursement, and access decisions.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of global value dossiers, HTA submissions, payer value narratives, and supporting materials across key markets.
- Partner closely with Clinical Development to embed HEOR endpoints and evidence requirements into clinical trial design and lifecycle planning.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Commercial leadership to support pricing strategy, payer engagement, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization.
- Serve as a senior internal advisor and escalation point on payer, HTA, and value-related questions, translating complex evidence into clear strategic recommendations.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing HEOR and value team, including internal staff and external vendors, consultants, and academic partners.
- Ensure all HEOR activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal governance frameworks.
- Monitor evolving global payer, HTA, and policy landscapes to proactively adapt evidence strategies and inform long-term planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in specialty or rare disease sales leadership within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven record of building and scaling sales organizations in pre-launch and launch settings required.
- 12+ years experience in HEOR, market access, or value strategy within biopharma or biotech, with demonstrated leadership at a senior or executive level.
- Deep understanding of global payer and HTA requirements, including experience supporting submissions and engagements in the US and key ex-US markets.
- Proven track record of developing and executing evidence generation strategies across clinical development and commercialization.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Experience in rare disease, autoimmune disease, cell therapy, or specialty therapeutics strongly preferred.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence, with the ability to clearly articulate value to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- Successful candidates will bring strong executive presence, strategic judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on leadership.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and contributing at the executive leadership level is essential.
