Requirements

What you’ll need

Working knowledge across frontend vs backend tradeoffs
REST APIs and data models
Databases and data modelling basics
Caching strategies
Deployment environments (staging, production, CI/CD)
UI component libraries
Authentication flows
Performance fundamentals
Experience shipping products in a startup environment (Nice to have)
Comfort with ambiguity (Nice to have)
A side project or two that you actually finished (Nice to have)
Opinions about what makes software feel good to use (Nice to have)
Experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, or social media platforms (Nice to have)
