About the role
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of five employees
- Responsibility for general ledger accounts as well as accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Point of contact for tax, accounting and customs matters
- Support for internal and external financial audits
- Communication with auditors, tax authorities and house banks
- Reconciliation of accounting with intercompany partners
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Leadership experience: advantageous
- Knowledge: accounting standards under HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS
- ERP knowledge: SAP R/3 (FI, CO) advantageous
- Language skills: good written and spoken English
