About the role
- Support in preparing the budget and forecasts (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
- Analyze and comment on monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB (German GAAP)
- Perform monthly consolidated/group reporting
- Calculate product costs and analyze product margins
- Determine inventory valuations and provisions
- Conduct investment, profitability and strategic analyses
- Prepare target vs. actual comparisons, variance analyses and ad-hoc reports
Requirements
- Degree in business/economics or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in operational controlling, ideally within an industrial/manufacturing company
- General understanding of P&L and balance sheet preparation and presentation
- Experience with SAP R/3 (FI, CO) or S/4HANA is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Good written and spoken English
