About the role
- Design end-to-end security solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructures including micro-segmentation, identity-driven security, and Zero Trust Network Access
- Modernize SOCs with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and AI-driven analytics
- Lead threat hunting and incident response leveraging frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill chain
- Secure cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using native controls and 3rd-party tools
- Lead identity and access governance with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and SailPoint
- Ensure solutions align with major regulatory standards and perform risk assessments and develop audit-ready documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translate technical risks into business impacts, support pre-sales, deliver executive briefings, and contribute to proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- 5+ years in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, and consulting
- Proficient with EDR/XDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Proficient with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Cortex XSOAR)
- Proficient with PAM/IAM (CyberArk, Okta)
- Experience with network and cloud security controls (Palo Alto, Zscaler, Illumio, Guardicore, etc.)
- Strong expertise in Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, SSE, and cloud-native security frameworks
- Deep understanding of cyber threats, attacker techniques, threat hunting, and incident management
- Experience with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill chain
- Knowledge of and experience aligning with standards: NIST 800-53/800-207, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS
- Ability to lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, and present to technical and executive audiences
- Preferred certifications from vendors/organizations such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Cortex, ISC2, ISACA
