About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain message flows, subflows, ESQL logic, mappings, and integration components within IBM IIB/ACE
- Build integration solutions supporting SOAP, REST APIs, MQ, HTTP(S), JDBC/SQL, and file‑based interfaces
- Develop reusable components, transformation logic, error‑handling frameworks, and flow patterns for enterprise use
- Implement and support services and interfaces using SOAP / WSDL, REST / OpenAPI specifications
- Ensure proper integration of Java code, Java Compute Nodes (JCNs), and reusable Java libraries within IIB/ACE
- Provide DevOps support for deployments, versioning, and integration delivery pipelines
- Automate build & deployment operations using scripts, ACE Toolkit, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Requirements
- 12+ years experience in IBM IIB / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) development and support
- Strong hands-on experience with: Message flow design & development, SOAP / REST services, Java, SQL, MQ, HTTP-based integrations, Error handling, logging frameworks, integration patterns
- Solid scripting and DevOps capabilities (shell scripting, CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling)
- Strong debugging skills with logs, trace nodes, user traces, and runtime metrics
- Experience supporting production deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
