About the role

  • Managing, patching, and upgrading Linux OS, troubleshooting performance, storage, and network issues.
  • Using Bash, Python, Perl, or Ansible for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  • Supporting AWS/Azure workloads and managing virtualization tools like KVM or VMware.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SUSE, or Ubuntu.
  • Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, and storage devices.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar is often required.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
