About the role

  • Create TF code that will integrate with other tools in the environment such as GIT and Ansible
  • Contribute to current projects analyzing problems and tech issues, offering solutions, testing, modifying, automating, and integrating systems
  • Participate in long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution
  • Support US account in US shift (PST time zone) rotating monthly
  • Deal with client expectations and internal challenges while making a difference
  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs throughout project lifespan

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Terraform (HCL) for infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Writing reusable, modular, and maintainable Terraform code
  • Managing Terraform state files and backends (e.g., S3, Azure Blob, GCS)
  • Working with Terraform modules, variables, and outputs
  • Understanding of Terraform workspaces and environment segregation
  • Experience with Terraform Cloud / Enterprise
  • CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Version control with Git
  • Linux administration and shell scripting
  • Infrastructure monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Containerization & orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
  • Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Strong process improvement experience.
