About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the setup of field trials and nurseries.
- Carry out sowing, scoring/assessments, observations and harvests.
- Ensure adherence to experimental protocols.
- Collect and record agronomic data.
- Monitor experimental plots throughout the season.
- Prepare the equipment required for various field activities.
- Contribute to the daily operations of the station and ensure trials run smoothly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are pursuing a post-secondary qualification equivalent to Bac+2 to Bac+5 in agronomy, crop production or agricultural experimentation.
- You are motivated by fieldwork and seasonal activities.
- You demonstrate rigor, organization and autonomy.
- You enjoy working in a team and have good practical skills.
- A valid car driving license is required.
