About the role

  • Support the digitization of technical processes and the integration of modern technologies in the workshop and office
  • Ensure the operational readiness of digital control components of our machinery fleet, especially during seasonal peak periods
  • Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT workstations (PCs, printers, peripherals)
  • Analyze and resolve technical faults in both machinery and IT environments
  • Perform repairs on electronic and digital systems
  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair agricultural machines, equipment, and technical systems in accordance with KWS standards
  • Document maintenance, servicing, and repair work according to KWS specifications

Requirements

  • Completed training as an agricultural machinery mechatronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or equivalent qualification
  • Solid knowledge of electronics and digital tools
  • Experience in or a strong affinity for IT (PC workstations, networks, hardware) is required
  • Interest in modern, digitally supported agricultural technology systems
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Teamwork and a sense of responsibility in an operational environment
  • Driver's license class B and T (additional classes desirable)
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are mandatory; good English skills are desirable.
