About the role

  • Translate raw and processed data into clear, compelling insights that guide product decisions and strategic improvements.
  • Deep dive into complex datasets and business problems, identifying root causes and solving them independently.
  • Work closely with the day-to-day functioning of the business to understand downstream impacts and ensure insights are practical and implementable.
  • Drive end-user actions through data – not just analysis, but real-world outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product and operational teams to deliver data stories they can understand and act on.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to support ongoing performance tracking.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all data outputs.
  • Validate data sources, logic, and results to maintain trust and integrity across teams.
  • Implement checks and processes to catch anomalies and prevent errors before insights are shared.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for key analyses and reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in fintech or product-led environments
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Exceptional storytelling skills – you can turn numbers into narratives that influence decisions
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate insights in a clear, business-friendly language
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and accuracy
  • Previous experience in credit decisioning and credit risk is highly advantageous.
