About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with law enforcement agencies and governmental entities
  • Grow sales through prospecting, presentations, demonstrations, and territory planning
  • Manage the sales pipeline and customer relationships using Salesforce CRM
  • Deliver hands-on product demonstrations and training in person and virtually
  • Travel extensively, approximately 75% of the time, including some evenings and weekends
  • Recommend solutions tailored to each agency’s needs and challenges
  • Monitor competitors and contribute insights to market strategy
  • Maintain and manage regional demonstration equipment
  • Partner proactively with customers and collaborate across the organization
  • Represent Kustom Signals and MPH Industries’ video and speed enforcement solutions in the assigned region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of technical B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in law enforcement or traffic safety technology
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and traveling extensively
  • Skilled in consultative selling, territory strategy, and influencing purchasing decisions
  • Technically adept, with the ability to troubleshoot and train end users
  • Confident communication skills with excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working from a home office
  • Professionalism and integrity when representing the brand
  • Prior sales experience with traffic safety or video solutions preferred
  • Background in law enforcement or public safety preferred
  • Experience working with state-level and metropolitan agencies preferred
  • Familiarity with local, regional, and state purchasing processes preferred
