About the role

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, implement, and integrate APIs, algorithms, and tools for TLG's global initiatives.
  • Design and build functionality for the Global-level technology platform, encompassing both frontend and backend components.
  • Contribute to agile planning by defining work breakdown, estimating task complexity and duration, and setting milestones.
  • Make decisions on non-functional requirements (availability, scale, speed, horizontal scalability, usability) and technology stack choices.
  • Conduct incident analysis and troubleshooting of incidents across the entire stack.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of practical experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of shipping large web applications and scale software or web applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, as well as common engineering tools like Git, Jira.
  • Experience with concepts such as CI/CD, containers (Docker), and related tools for both frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
  • You take ownership of your work, uphold a deep sense of responsibility, and ensure accountability for the expected results.
  • Good communication skills in English - German proficiency is not mandatory
