About the role

  • Define, develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive analytics and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Drive automation-first strategies that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability across network operations
  • Lead a high-performing global team of analysts and software engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure network automation complies with relevant regulatory requirements, security requirements and industry standards
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators and Service-Level Objectives to measure operational effectiveness
  • Build and manage teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices
  • Facilitate performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and development plans
  • Manage solution delivery and application performance in production, ensuring risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
  • Manage relationships with business and technology partners and lead Communities of Practice
  • Contribute to technology strategy for the technical domain and ensure execution aligns with product strategy

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree or other software engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of network protocols and technologies
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and AI/ML-driven observability platforms and analytics tools
  • Experience with Terraform, Itential, NetDevOps, Splunk, Python, React JS, Django
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL DB and Redis
  • Experience with custom application development using Python, advanced analytics, and data science
  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing global teams
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams in a complex, enterprise-wide environment
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Agile framework & SCRUM ceremonies (desired)
  • Financial services industry experience or experience in other highly regulated industries (desired)
