• Prepare, perform primary review, and support audit engagements for complex ASC 740 income tax provisions under US GAAP.
• Conduct primary and secondary reviews of corporate, federal, state, and local income tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy and identifying tax-saving opportunities.
• Research complex tax technical matters, assess the tax implications of client operations, and support the implementation of innovative tax-planning strategies.
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for client engagements, building strong working relationships with client management and finance teams.
• Support project management fundamentals, including tracking engagement metrics (realization, utilization, leverage), managing deliverables to budget, and maintaining strict adherence to client confidentiality.
• Directly mentor, train, and guide staff associates on tax software, ASC 740 workflows, and compliance projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and participate in staff performance reviews.
