Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience as an Insurance Defense Legal Assistant
  • General litigation experience required
  • Prior experience managing attorney calendars and scheduling
  • Experience capturing attorney time
  • Experience drafting legal documents, including standardized letters and frameworks for pleadings and reports
  • Working knowledge of Florida court procedures
  • Familiarity with e-Service and e-Filing
  • Competence and proficiency in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow up on items and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, be goal-oriented, and task-oriented
  • Construction litigation experience preferred but not required
