About the role
- Summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documents; create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Provide litigation support for insurance defense matters, especially bodily injury and general liability
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and outside counsel in a team environment
- Use Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel to prepare documents
- Work independently in a fast-paced office environment and manage assigned tasks
- Based in Kubicki Draper’s Jacksonville office supporting Florida and regional matters
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation, bodily injury and/or general liability
- Prior experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures, preferred
- Competent in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel
- Task oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication with clients, carriers, and counsel
