About the role
- Provide Insurance Defense Legal Assistant support in Kubicki Draper’s Fort Myers office
- Manage attorney calendars and scheduling
- Capture attorney time and billing entries
- Draft legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports
- Use Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel for document preparation
- Coordinate e-Service and e-Filing; follow Florida court procedures
- Communicate with attorneys and staff; follow-up on items and maintain attention to detail
- Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; perform task-oriented duties
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Prior Insurance Defense General Liability and Personal Injury experience preferred
- Prior experience managing attorney calendars/scheduling
- Experience capturing attorney time
- Experience drafting legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures
- Familiarity with e-Service and e-Filing
- Proficient in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
- Excellent communication skills; ability to follow-up on items and be detail oriented
- Task oriented; ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
