About the role

  • Support attorneys with all aspects of construction litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
  • Draft, review, and organize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and track important deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be task orientated.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or general liability, preferred.
  • Ability to manage document-intensive cases, from inception through trial.
  • Prior experience working with multi-party cases; conducting legal research and file prep.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed.
  • Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred.
