About the role
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web applications using ReactJS and Gatsby.
- Develop and maintain reusable, efficient frontend components and implement new features to meet project requirements.
- Integrate various data sources, such as APIs and databases, into our websites to provide dynamic content and functionality.
- Optimize web applications for search engine visibility and performance through techniques like image optimization, code splitting, and asset optimization.
- Write comprehensive tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the codebase, using tools like Jest and React Testing Library.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and best practices are maintained.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in frontend development, with proficiency in ReactJS and Gatsby.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in building responsive and accessible web applications.
- Experience integrating data sources, such as REST APIs and databases, into frontend applications.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Experience writing unit tests and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
