About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition to align recruiting strategies with business objectives and workforce plans for a growing firm.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for experienced accounting professionals, ensuring seamless and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Proactively engage passive candidates through innovative strategies, leveraging Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to build a robust talent pipeline for ready-to-hire roles.
  • Cultivate trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the public accounting market to attract candidates in tax and other areas assigned.
  • Promote the firm’s employer brand through strategic outreach, relationship management, and consistent representation of firm culture and values.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, ideally within public accounting or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, assessing, and closing high-performing tax professionals.
  • Track record of filling tax roles in public accounting (a plus)
  • Strong understanding of talent market dynamics in public accounting
  • Proficiency with Workday (preferred) and other ATS/sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional organization, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with flexibility of hours during peak seasons.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and firm values.
