About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the execution of a key contract, overseeing multiple projects and personnel, and ensuring they align with customer objectives and organizational goals.
- Provide support to additional contracts, working closely with the Warrior Readiness Portfolio Manager on contract oversight and delivery.
- Interface with customers regularly (at least weekly) to manage expectations, provide progress updates, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Leverage experience in either Joint Staff, Service Staff, or Combatant Command Staff environments to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and leadership.
- Support operational planning, requirements planning, and DoW policy development and implementation on complex projects.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with requirements, timelines, and budgets. Provide guidance on contract strategy and execution.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, guiding teams through complex project execution while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- US Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain
- Previous Experience in DoW policy and operational planning expertise.
- Requirements planning experience, including translating customer needs into actionable plans.
- Proven success in leading and managing teams across a variety of projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Customer management skills, with a focus on building strong, positive relationships.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Business savvy: Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a fast-paced environment, and engage with the customer on a weekly basis.
