About the role
- Design and document end‑to‑end solutions leveraging VMware virtualization technologies and Microsoft Azure Local services
- Provide expert guidance on workload migration, with specific emphasis on transitioning VMware workloads to Azure Local
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, storage, networking and application teams to ensure cohesive architectural outcomes
- Apply and promote established best practices, governance frameworks and architectural patterns with support of the Enterprise Architect
- Serve as a technical escalation point throughout design, deployment, and operational phases.
Requirements
- 8-10+ year of expertise as Solution Architect
- Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Azure Local services
- Demonstrated experience in workload migration from VMware to Azure Local
- Strong understanding of (hybrid) networking (CISCO ACI)
- Ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) in English
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
