About the role

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for finance processes within JDE
  • Design and configure JDE financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA) to meet business needs
  • Ensure accurate implementation of Belgium and France tax rules (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes, etc.) in JDE
  • Maintain compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and liaise with tax authorities when needed
  • Identify gaps and propose improvements in financial workflows
  • Support automation and standardization of tax-related processes across regions
  • Conduct system testing (UAT, SIT) for finance and tax configurations
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support for JDE finance functionalities
  • Work closely with finance teams, IT developers, and external consultants to deliver solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Belgium and France tax compliance within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst with JD Edwards ERP
  • Proven expertise in Belgium and France tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, fiscal reporting)
  • Strong knowledge of JDE financial modules and localization features
  • Familiarity with European tax compliance tools and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • English (mandatory), French/Dutch (preferred)
