About the role
- Lead the design of digital, analog, and power supply circuits, including system-level integration within RF devices
- Analyze and define clear functional and performance requirements in collaboration with customers
- Own PCB architecture and oversee layout, ensuring optimal component placement, signal integrity, and manufacturability
- Perform advanced circuit design, simulations, and validation for complex hardware systems
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to define thermal management, shielding, and mechanical integration strategies
- Drive schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout in accordance with DFM, DFA and DFT best practices
- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through prototyping, validation, and production support
- Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex hardware issues in prototypes and early production units
- Review and optimize designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost
- Define and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, schematics, and BOMs
- Generate TPDs and collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers of PCBs and components
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Extensive experience in designing digital, analog, and power circuits for complex systems
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and DFx
- Proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Solid experience with the implementation of communication interfaces: SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, LVDS
- Proven experience with the implementation of complex processors, FPGAs and/or SoCs
- Strong hands-on debugging and testing experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
- Deep understanding of PCB layout principles, including stack-up design, signal integrity and power integrity considerations
