About the role
- Design and lead the company’s operating model to support scale, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and daily operations across all functions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with senior leadership and executive team to translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans, execution of roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead company budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business priorities and growth plans.
- Oversee cross-functional coordination across Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations, ensuring teams operate with clarity, alignment, and shared ownership of results.
- Implement operational reporting frameworks and performance dashboards, providing leadership with visibility into KPIs, risks, and progress against strategic objectives.
- Drive improvements in service delivery, operational efficiency, and support performance by defining metrics, monitoring outcomes, and enabling continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove structural and operational bottlenecks, accelerating project delivery, and improving cross-team collaboration and execution speed.
- Build and strengthen operational leadership by empowering functional heads, developing management capability, and enabling autonomous decision-making.
- Reduce founder dependency in operational decision-making by establishing clear ownership, scalable processes, and effective leadership structures.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence across the organization
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, General Management or Finance.
- 10+ years of experience in operations and/or finance roles, preferably within high-growth tech companies, startups, or R&D-driven environments.
- Strong financial expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational reporting.
- Proven operational leadership with experience in process optimization, KPI management, and scaling operational systems.
- Experience managing procurement, vendor relationships, and supply chain operations within technology organizations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- A positive mind-set and people-oriented work ethic.
- Strong operational leadership and experience scaling operating models in fast-growing environments.
- Ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans and align cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
- Proven ability to build and empower high-performing leaders and teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
